Hours

During fall 2021 the Reading Room is open by appointment Monday and Tuesday 9:00-4:30, Wednesday 10-4:30 and Thursday and Friday 9:00-4:30 p.m. only to Yale affiliates with a current Yale ID authorized to enter campus buildings. Appointments must be made 48 hours in advance of the scheduled visit.

Library staff are available via email for reference services, or email walpole@yale.edu.

There will be no on-site exhibitions or tours, and the exhibition gallery and remainder of the Library building are closed to visitors. Selected exhibitions and program recordings have been made available online.

The library is closed on University holidays.
