The exhibition “James Gillray’s Hogarthian Progresses” opens April 6 and will be on view through September 16. Curated by Cynthia Roman, Curator of Prints, Drawings, and Paintings at the LWL, the exhibition explores sequential narration in satiric prints and presents James Gillray’s Hogarthian progresses alongside some selected prints by William Hogarth. There will be an evening public lecture at the Lewis Walpole Library on May 10 at 7 pm.
