As part of a year-long celebration of the tercentenary of Horace Walpole’s birth the Lewis Walpole Library is presenting a two-day event marking the 250th anniversary of the first printing of his play The Mysterious Mother. A mini-conference on May 3rd is organized by Jill Campbell and Cynthia Roman in association with Horace Walpole’s The Mysterious Mother: A Staged Reading the evening of May 2nd, that is jointly presented with the Yale Center for British Art.
